The Romans Road
A Presentation of God's Plan of Salvation from the Bible Book of Romans.
1. No one is righteous.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, “There is none righteous, no, not one.”
2. All are sinners.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.
3. God loves even sinners.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
4. All sinners must suffer eternal death.
Romans 6:23a For the wages of sin is death.
5. But eternal life is available.
Romans 6:23b But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
6. Anyone who trusts in Jesus Christ shall be saved.
Romans 10:13 For “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
7. This is because Jesus died to pay for sins and was raised to life again.
Romans 4:25 Who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.
8. Men are saved by faith, not works.
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.
9. Those who are saved have peace with God.
Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.
10. A simple prayer is how to call on the name of Christ.
Romans 10:9-10 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
