Last time we looked at walking in wisdom. In verse 18, the Scripture gives us a two-fold command, followed by a number of consequences. Those consequences will be for a future lesson. But our goal in this lesson is to understand just what it means to be filled with the Spirit and the contrast with being drunk.
To be filled with the Spirit to be permeated by the truth concerning Jesus Christ revealed in the Bible. The command is to "be being filled" with the Spirit.
