In this message we study how Paul encouraged the persecuted Thessalonian believers by reminding them that they were not alone - they had suffered the very same things as the Judeans (Acts 17:5). Many Scriptures warn that trials are a normal part of the Christian life, not an exception. During times of suffering, those who have been through similar circumstances and have stood firm in the faith can encourage believers.
