From the Pulpit...

A Song of Praise to God Coming in Judgment - James Widgeon

The substance of this psalms, and portions of psalms 97, 98, and 100 are found in 1 Chronicles 16:1-43, which was used by David's direction in the dedication of the tabernacle on Mt. Zion. The psalm has importance beyond that historical occasion, however, because it anticipates kingdom praise for the Lord from all the nations of the world, and even from nature itself. It also expresses the intense joy that will saturate the earth when the Messiah is ruling from Jerusalem.
