From the Pulpit...

Before we study in the book of Ezekiel chapters 44-48 we turn to Hebrews first to understand the significance of animal sacrifices. Seeing that we understand the events in Ezekiel to happen in the future how are animal sacrifices after Christ warranted? How is that possible? Wasn't Christ the final payment for mankind's sins? Two key things: What the old testament sacrifices could not do and what the old sacrifices could do. The key to understanding this in detail is found in Hebrews 10:4, Hebrews 10:11, and Hebrews 9:13-14.
