From the Pulpit...

Paul teaches that believer's physical body is the temple, or dwelling place, of the Holy Spirit. Here, Paul explains that the local church is the temple of God. God provides a harsh warning against people who try to tear down His church. It is one thing to disagree if one's desire is what is best for the community of believers. But those who are motivated to block or ruin what God wants to do-actions that marked the church in Corinth-are sinning.
