The topic of this message was about how the New Testament uses the Old Testament. We first looked at how the two testaments are actually unified into a single book. They are not entirely different or disconnected from one another. Pastor Postiff then offered a system of categorization to help us understand how a New Testament quotation of the Old Testament works. We looked at about half a dozen different types of NT quotes of the OT. The remainder awaits in part 2.
