In this lesson, we glean wisdom from the book of proverbs on parenting. Parenting is designed to bring joy, not a burden. The joy of parenting is directly connected to the character of a child in Proverbs. As parents, we are to both model godly living and instruct our children to live godly. The responsibility of parenting is made difficult by the fact that children resist submitting to the instruction of parents.
