In part two of how God connected the testaments, we looked at several more types of NT uses of the OT including predictions previewed, theology misapplied, theology properly applied, wording adapted, pattern fulfilled, historical references, and historical analogies. These categories help us to grasp better the interconnected story of the entire Bible. A particular goal of this message is to help you be immersed into the world of the Bible and show how it is worth every effort to mine its truth by digging deeply into it. Saturating your thinking with the Bible will help you to live better for the Lord.
