From the Pulpit...
Committed to the Lord's Day - Missionary Speaker
In this message, our teacher builds a case from the entirety of the Bible for setting aside Sunday, the Lord's day, as a day for worship and refreshment. Our culture has wholeheartedly embraced a secular Sunday model of life, where stores are open and very little is thought of worship of God on Sunday, much less any other day of the week. One of the key ideas here is that Christians should dedicate time to worship and rest. The message notes particularly the repeated nature of the 1-in-7 pattern that God set out at creation and carries through the Bible.
