From the Pulpit...

Five concepts in this prayer disclose the concern of Daniel's heart. First, he recites that God faithfully keeps His promises. Second, God's righteousness warrants confession of the guilty. Third, the Lord is merciful and forgiving. Fourth, The Lord righteously upholds His justice by punishing evil. And fifth, the Lord deserves honor among the nations. Together these five truths reveal the ultimate concern of Daniel's heart was God's glory.
