From the Pulpit...

We study a high-level overview of the Lord's teaching on the Mount of Olives. Prominent in the lesson is a warning not to allow current world events to make you think the return of the Lord is happening right now. Rather, current terrible events are just the beginning of sorrows, not the Tribulation itself. Another application of the passage is that we should be faithful every day because the Lord could return at any time and we do not want to be caught "sleeping" when He returns. We ought always be able to pray with the apostle John, "Come quickly, Lord Jesus!"
