From the Pulpit...

We briefly reviewed some Bible study tools and methods from our previous message, and spent the balance of our time speaking about the topic of Scripture Engagement. This is part of the larger Bible translation process in which we work to encourage the ongoing, systematic use of the Bible. It applies on an individual level (to you!) and to churches corporately. Scripture use includes people reading their Bibles at home, and churches reading the Bible in public services. It includes living out the words of Scripture at home and in the world, giving people tools to help them understand the Bible (like devotional material, teaching curriculum, etc.) We looked at some Scripture Engagement material from one Bible translation society called Bibles International.
