From the Pulpit...

Pastor Postiff reminded us of several principles that guide Christian giving at the beginning and end of the message. One of those is that God blesses generous giving, and this led us to consider the blessing promised to those who bless Israel in the Abrahamic covenant. We thought through an important sidebar to this, which concerns the current debate over how to think about modern Israel in relation to God's promises concerning the future nation. Current events cannot negatively impact our view that God will certainly fulfill His promises to the nation of Israel, because God's promises are irrevocable.
