From the Pulpit...

In our ongoing series about Bible translations, we focused on future translations of the Scripture, those that do not yet exist. Although the topic of "how to" do a Bible translation can fill several college-level courses, our attention was drawn to the vast need of translation. More that three thousand languages need the Scripture translated. The task is enormous, and the time it takes from start to finish can sometimes be 20 to 30 years or even more. We spent a few moments talking about research that a little team of our volunteers has been doing to use artificial intelligence to speed up the translation process.
