In this brief summary of the book of Job, we learned that the message of Job is about God’s sovereign administration of the world and how it relates to the problem of evil. If you are looking for a full solution to the problem of evil apart from God, it is not to be found. Ultimately the resolution of the problem is found in trusting in God’s wise administration of the affairs of the world because He is all-powerful and knows what He is doing. Our study followed through the same categories as prior book-at-a-glance studies, namely a list of several key verses, a review of some key doctrine in the book, literary features, the date it may have been written, some about related scriptures, how it fits in the Bible's storyline, an outline, and some lessons.
