From the Pulpit...

After reading in Revelation 1 and Genesis 6, we studied 2 Peter 1:1-2, regarding Peter's address to his readers. We saw that the believers to whom he is writing have the exact same precious faith that all the apostles have. They have obtained this by God's will and on the basis of the righteousness of Christ. Listen in as we uphold those truths of God and extol the God of those truths. The text teaches us that Jesus is our God and Savior, and Pastor Postiff gives some explanation as to why this is necessary to believe based on the grammar of the passage.
