Job, Part 6: Job's Continued Response - Matt Postiff
In this message, we reviewed the opening verses of Job 6, and then looked at Job 6:14 through chapter 7. Job says that his friends are not being at all helpful. They are like dry streams that offer no refreshment. His sufferings are elaborated in the early verses of chapter 7, and then Job turns to address God and ask why God won't turn away his burning gaze from Job so that Job will find relief.
Job's words might be considered as sinful complaining, but I understand that Job is just telling the facts of how he feels. He is in agony, after all, so we can excuse some of his extreme ways of speaking.
