We read Genesis 24, preceded by some cautionary statements to help the reader in properly interpreting the passage. Some have misused the passage to teach how a young man today should find a wife. Then, we examined the proper use of law, the Law of Moses, and the Law of Christ. We saw that the Law of Moses is still very useful to point out sin--but only certain parts of that Law as they are drawn out in the New Testament.
