From the Pulpit...

We reviewed the opening verses of chapter 1, and moved through verse 14. We took an interesting aside to think about the issue of para-church organizations and the proper place of the local church in this age. We thought about some of the promises that we have in Christ: peace, love, grace, justification, wisdom, confidence, hope, joy, victory, eternal life, power, mercy, forgiveness, truth, fellowship with God, spiritual discernment.

We saw the ministry of the Spirit in the life of the believer, specifically that it includes a seal and guarantee of security and authenticity.
