From the Pulpit...

After reading Genesis 39, Pastor continued his short series on the cessation of revelatory gifts started last Sunday morning.We reviewed the major arguments for cessationism, and extended our thinking in this matter. One big emphasis of the message is that we should be content with the things that God has revealed to us, and make use of them to the maximal extent possible. We do this instead of wasting time trying to "get" some other spiritual gift that isn't even available today.

Prior to the message, Pastor exhorted us to not be a complaining people, but rather to be a grateful people (04:19 to 07:27).
