From the Pulpit...

After reading Leviticus 2, we reviewed chapter 5 of Daniel, and particularly focused on the idea that Belshazzar was called out of this life suddenly without much warning. We then considered how Daniel shows us to live in a godless, pagan, secular, evil culture. He demonstrates this in Daniel 6 as an elderly man, maintaining his faith in God even after a law was passed that restricted free exercise of religion. At the end of this message, we left Daniel in the lion's den, waiting for the coming of the morning to see if he survived.
