From the Pulpit...

We examined six things that are not going to be present in the heavenly state, which actually focuses on the new earth: the sea, tears, death, sorrow, crying, and pain. A logical extension of the fact that death is absent is that sin also will be absent. We also thought about the utility, in our present world, of things like trials and pain. These negative things will have no utility in heaven and will be banished.

What relief all of this will bring to the believer and to the shepherds of Christ's church.
