We read 2 Samuel 4 and then considered a translation difficulty in Micah 5:1 with regard to a verb that is translated as "gather yourself in troops" or as "you slash yourself." This seems to be quite a difference in the translation, and we explore why it has arisen.
In our continuing study of the doctrine of the Trinity, we examined various Bible texts that are misused to deny the deity of Christ or the Trinity. We saw how each of these texts can be explained properly (Matthew 24:36//Mark 13:32//Luke 18:19, Mark 10:18, Luke 2:52, John 5:19, John 14:28, John 17:11, 20:17).
