In this message, we gave particular attention to how God loved Israel, evidenced in His covenant promises to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their descendants. The Lord hated Esau in the sense that He did not favor him. God treated Israel much differently that He did Edom—and God is free to do how He pleases!
