Continuing this Resurrection Sunday service we study how God ordained Christ to suffer for sinners in order to bring them to God. The single verse we will study in these notes is 1 Peter 3:18, which focuses on the fact of Christ's suffering, and more importantly, the characteristics, purpose and results of that suffering. The main idea is that God foreordained Christ to suffer, and through this suffering, to bring sinners to God.
