From the Pulpit...

In our continuing series in Malachi, we begin studying the passage about marriage and divorce. This passage sits in a very specific context that deals with the idolatry of the people of Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. They were marrying foreign women who were not proselytes or converts to Judaism. And to do this, they were divorcing their wives, thus committing treachery against them and against the Lord.
