We gave a brief overview of Acts 17 and saw how Paul handled the Old Testament. Paul preached that the Scriptures taught Messiah would suffer and rise again. Then we connected the prophecies of these truths from Isaiah 53 to the New Testament passages that quote from it and allude to it. It was in this way that the apostle demonstrated that Jesus is the Christ prophesied in the Old Testament. See the related blog post.
