Nehemiah Sent to Judah - Matt Postiff

Posted September 11, 2019 | Length: 00:44:57 | File size in bytes: 8093628

Several months of praying to God, He grants Nehemiah a request on behalf of Jerusalem. One day, Nehemiah has a sad countenance and King Artaxerxes asked why he was sad. Nehemiah replied that his heart was filled with sorrow because the city of Jerusalem lied in waste, and its gates were burned with fire. Nehemiah, trusting in God to provide a way to somehow ask the King, grants Nehemiah permission to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the city.

Our Scripture reading was found in Numbers 17:1-13.
