From the Pulpit...
Building Project - Matt Postiff
We continue our study where Nehemiah spends several months praying to God, He grants Nehemiah a request on behalf of Jerusalem. One day, Nehemiah has a sad countenance and King Artaxerxes asked why he was sad. Nehemiah replied that his heart was filled with sorrow because the city of Jerusalem lied in waste, and its gates were burned with fire. Nehemiah, trusting in God to provide a way to somehow ask the King, grants Nehemiah permission to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the city. The prayer of Nehemiah was answered and this led to a ton of back-breaking work. At the same time, God prospered the work.
