From the Pulpit...

We continued our study focused on two passages of Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:15 and John 7:37-39. Both have to do with the ministry of the Holy Spirit. We worked on answering last week's question about the Corinthians passage, namely, "just what does that verse mean?" We found an interesting connection between a key verb in 1 Cor. 2:14 and two in 15. We also continued our study of John 7:37-39, attempting to understand better the nature of the Spirit's work in the present age. Lord willing we will complete this study next week with an emphasis on the likeness of the Spirit's ministry to "living water."
