10 Facts About the Canon of Scripture (Part 1) - Matt Postiff
We begin our study on the ten basic facts about the New Testament canon that every Christian should memorize. First, the New testament books are the earliest Christian writings we posses. They are distinctive because these books were written shortly after the times of Jesus Christ. These are the only Gospel accounts which were written during the first century. Second, the apocryphal books were written in the second century and later. Third, the New Testament books are apostolic, directly connected to the activities and associates of the Apostles.
