We begin our study in the book of Esther where we see how vigorously foreign powers tried to eliminate the Jewish race and how God's sovereignty preserved His people in accordance with His covenant promise to Abraham. Esther is a prime example of how God uses all nations and types of people to fulfill His purposes.
