Pastor Postiff continues his series on Christian Character. In this section we are thinking about having a heart for God, about being like Jesus, about being holy in heart and conduct. Sometimes godliness is an expression of the phrase “according to God” in the New Testament. It is something like “the state of how God is.” Sometimes people liken it to “god-like-ness” not in the sense that Satan desired, but in the sense God’s good moral qualities can be replicated in people albeit to an imperfect extent.
