From the Pulpit...

The point of this message was to remind us of the central place of love in the Christian's life--love for God and love for one another. This extends especially to spouse and family, brothers and sisters in the church, and even to enemies. We saw a number of Biblical examples of people who exhibited love, highest among them our Savior. We also looked at the oft-repeated command to love God and love neighbors and strangers. To top it off, we asked the question as to whether we are truly exercising love in our character, or if it is merely theoretical. God wants real love in His people.
