Our Staff
Pastor Matt Postiff
Rev. Postiff was called as the Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church on May 21, 2006. He and his wife Naomi have three children, David, John, and Daniel. Before assuming responsibilities at Fellowship Bible, Pastor Postiff studied at the University of Michigan and received a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. in computer engineering. Upon graduation from Michigan, he ran an engineering consulting firm which specialized in the design and simulation of computer microprocessors. He also studied at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary for the 3-year Master of Divinity degree, graduating in May 2005. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in November 2004. He graduated in 2010 with a Master of Theology degree at DBTS, and has taught first year Hebrew there as well. Pastor Postiff has also done some study in addiction recovery and church planting. He became a believer at age 11 under the influence of his godly parents, grandmother, and the witness of the local church.
Assistant Pastor Jansen Lorch
Jansen Lorch began serving as assistant pastor. Jansen and his wife Kalee were married in June 2019. Jansen and Kalee studied at Appalachian Bible College and graduated in May 2019. Jansen double majored in Bible & Theology and Missions, and Kalee in Bible & Theology and Youth & Family Ministries. In July 2019, FBC called Jansen to serve as a pastoral intern, and then after a short hiatus, in October the church invited him to begin serving in the role of assistant pastor. Jansen is pursuing a M.Div. at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. His wife Kalee is actively serving in the children’s ministries and helping in administrative work at the church. Jansen was saved at the age of 5 under the Bible teaching and godly influence of his parents and church. Jansen and Kalee desire to serve the Lord with their lives and are passionate about cross-cultural church planting.
Deacon Ben Carnes
Ben has been attending Fellowship Bible since his youth. He is married to Jael and they have four children. Ben was called as a deacon in 2013.
Deacon Jon Snoeberger
Jon joined our deacon board in January 2021. He and his wife Janette have one son and a child on the way. Jon is a chemical engineer who works on automotive and environmental issues.
